Just like small little hamsters running endlessly on our flywheel, this book is about how we, the laypeople, have helped to create this circus that we now call the world.  From an elementary school boy in a remote European village, to the ascent of Donald J. Trump to the presidency of the United States, by connecting the dots of seemingly unrelated topics, distant in time and geography, we try to give an answer to the ever daunting question: who could have guessed?
